Tuna Melt

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

2 Tbsp: Parsley, Fresh Flat Leaf

25 g: Olive, Black Pitted (Jarred)

50 g: Butter, Salted

400 g: Tuna, Tinned (in Water)

100 g: Cheese, Cheddar

1 Whole: Onion, Brown (Fresh)

1 Whole: Pepper, Green (Fresh)

2 Whole: Garlic, Clove (Fresh)

1 Whole: Bread, Baguette (White)

4 Tbsp: Mayonnaise, Jarred

Method

Halve the baguette then slice across middle to create 4 half-torpedo shaped pieces of bread.

Mix the butter with the crushed garlic and chopped parsley, then spread along the length of each slice of bread.

sprinkle the chopped onions olives and peppers over the bread then mix the tuna with the mayonnaise and grated cheese and spoon on top of the peppers and onions.

finally place in the centre of a pre heated (180C / 350F / Gas mark 4) oven and cook for 20 minutes or until golden on top.
