Poached Eggs on Toast

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

2 Whole: Egg, Free Range (Organic)

2 Slice: Bread, Slice (Brown)

Method

Pour about 4 cm water into a frying pan and add a little salt.

Place the pan on a low heat and bring the water to just simmering point - too many bubbles will cause the egg white to break up before it sets.

Break the egg into a small dish or glass and slide it gently into the water.

Gently stir the water around the egg to bring it into shape.

Leave to poach over a low heat for 2-3 minutes until the white is set and the yolk still runny

Place on top of the toasted bread and serve.
